Charles Ellicott Commentary

Charles Ellicott Commentary
"Thou wilt guide me with thy counsel, And afterward receive me to glory." — Psalms 73:24 (ASV)
To glory. —Better, With honour, as Septuagint and Vulgate; or achar may be taken as a preposition: Lead me after honour, i.e., in the way to get it.
The thought is not of a reward after death, but of that true honour which would have been lost by adopting the views of the worldly, and is only to be gained by loyalty to God.
