"He caused the east wind to blow in the heavens; And by his power he guided the south wind." — Psalms 78:26 (ASV)

East wind ... south wind. —Probably the very winds that brought the flights of quails, and not merely poetical details. (See Smith’s Biblical Dictionary, art. “Quails.”)
