"The mountains were covered with the shadow of it, And the boughs thereof were [like] cedars of God." — Psalms 80:10 (ASV)

Goodly cedars. —Literally, cedars of God. The branches of the vine are to grow to resemble the luxuriance of the most magnificent of all forest trees.
