Charles Ellicott Commentary Psalms 81:15

"The haters of Jehovah should submit themselves unto him: But their time should endure for ever." — Psalms 81:15 (ASV)

Him — that is, Israel; Jehovah’s enemies are also Israel’s enemies.

Their time — that is, Israel’s. This is one of the sudden changes in number so frequent in Hebrew poetry. As a nation, Israel would continue to live and prosper.
