"With long life will I satisfy him, And show him my salvation." — Psalms 91:16 (ASV)

(16) Long Life. —The promise of a long life, while in accordance with the general feeling of the Old Testament, is peculiarly appropriate at the close of this psalm, which throughout speaks of protection from danger that threatened life.
