Charles Ellicott Commentary Psalms 91:7

"A thousand shall fall at thy side, And ten thousand at thy right hand; [But] it shall not come nigh thee." — Psalms 91:7 (ASV)

It shall not come nigh thee. — It, i.e., no one of the dangers enumerated. The pious Israelite bears a charmed life. Safe under Divine protection, he only sees the effect of perils that pass by him without harm.
