"They have all turned aside, they are together become unprofitable; There is none that doeth good, no, not, so much as one:" — Romans 3:12 (ASV)

They are together become unprofitable.—Here the adjective, “unprofitable,” is used to express a state of moral corruption and depravity. The word “together” means “altogether”; this signifies that “the whole mass of mankind, as one, has fallen to ruin.”
