"but I see a different law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity under the law of sin which is in my members." — Romans 7:23 (ASV)

Another law.—A different law. In my members, that is, that has its chief seat of activity in my members. This is the law of sin, which is ready to take advantage of every fleshly impulse.
