"And Jehovah answered the angel that talked with me with good words, [even] comfortable words." — Zechariah 1:13 (ASV)

Angel. —The Lord does not reply directly to the intercessor, but addresses the angel-interpreter, who immediately, in the words of Zechariah 1:14-17, delivers the message of comfort to the prophet.
