SCRIPTURE

"Be silent, all flesh, before Jehovah; for he is waked up out of his holy habitation." — Zechariah 2:13 (ASV)

Be silent. —Better, Hush! (Compare to Habakkuk 2:20.)

Raised. —Better, roused. The figure is that of a lion roused up from its lair. (Compare to the still bolder metaphor of Psalms 78:65.) The Septuagint misread the word for “habitation,” which they render correctly elsewhere, and give ἐκ νεφελῶν ἁγίων αὐτοῦ, “from His holy clouds.”
