Charles Ellicott Commentary Zephaniah 3:9

"For then will I turn to the peoples of a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of Jehovah, to serve him with one consent." — Zephaniah 3:9 (ASV)

To the people. —Better, To the peoples, or nations.

A pure language. —The discord of Babel will, as it were, give way to unity of language, when the worship of gods many will yield to the pure service of Jehovah, whom people will with one mind and one mouth glorify.
