Charles Spurgeon Commentary
"And it came to pass, when God helped the Levites that bare the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, that they sacrificed seven bullocks and seven rams." — 1 Chronicles 15:26 (ASV)
There is no mention of any sacrifice on the precious occasion. If there had been a proper offering of beasts to the Lord, there might not have been the death of Uzza; but, now, they do everything in the right order, and the sacrificial blood is sprinkled; without that, there is no acceptance before God.
