Charles Spurgeon Commentary 1 Chronicles 28:10

"Take heed now; for Jehovah hath chosen thee to build a house for the sanctuary: be strong, and do it." — 1 Chronicles 28:10 (ASV)

It is good to hear this old man, in his weakness, stirring up the young man. We generally expect to see youths full of zeal, and old men somewhat slow; but grace can turn the tables on nature. Here the old man, feeble in his body, is vigorous in his spirit.
