Charles Spurgeon Commentary 1 Corinthians 11:9-10

"for neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man: for this cause ought the woman to have [a sign of] authority on her head, because of the angels." — 1 Corinthians 11:9-10 (ASV)

To another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; to another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits;

So that he is able to detect the impostors who come even into the nominal Church of Christ. They did come then, and they will continue to come even to the end.
