SCRIPTURE

"Nay, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be more feeble are necessary: and those [parts] of the body, which we think to be less honorable, upon these we bestow more abundant honor; and our uncomely [parts] have more abundant comeliness; whereas our comely [parts] have no need: but God tempered the body together, giving more abundant honor to that [part] which lacked;" — 1 Corinthians 12:22-24 (ASV)

Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary: and those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. For our comely parts have no need but God both tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked:

A moment's thought will tell you that those parts of our frame which are tenderest are the most necessary parts; and upon those members of the body which we think to be less honourable, we bestow more abundant honour by clothing them more than other parts, and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness; for our comely parts have no need of being covered, and therefore we leave them exposed.
