"for we take thought for things honorable, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men." — 2 Corinthians 8:21 (ASV)

Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.

This was so that the matter might be so clear and transparent that, while God knew that Paul was honest, everyone else might know it too, since others had been associated with him.
