Charles Spurgeon Commentary 2 Kings 6:13

"And he said, Go and see where he is, that I may send and fetch him. And it was told him, saying, Behold, he is in Dothan." — 2 Kings 6:13 (ASV)

And he said, Go and spy where he is, that I may send and fetch him.

Not a very wise project, for if Elisha knew all about the words of the king it was not very likely that he would catch him.
