SCRIPTURE

"looking for and earnestly desiring the coming of the day of God, by reason of which the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness." — 2 Peter 3:12-13 (ASV)

Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness (2 Peter 3:12–13).

We believe that God will, in the end, have a complete victory over sin, and that even this poor world of ours, purified by the fire, will be lifted up, in a sevenfold splendor, to be a part of the great kingdom of our God: New heavens, and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness (2 Peter 3:13).
