"And let thy name be magnified for ever, saying, Jehovah of hosts is God over Israel; and the house of thy servant David shall be established before thee. For thou, O Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, hast revealed to thy servant, saying, I will build thee a house: therefore hath thy servant found in his heart to pray this prayer unto thee." — 2 Samuel 7:26-27 (ASV)

Saying, The LORD of hosts is the God over Israel: and let the house of your servant David be established before you. For you, O LORD of hosts, God of Israel,-

Notice how the name of the Lord seems to grow in this chapter until here it comes to its full force, and dignity, and majesty: You, O Jehovah of hosts, God of Israel,-
