SCRIPTURE

"Therefore I endure all things for the elect`s sake, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. Faithful is the saying: For if we died with him, we shall also live with him: if we endure, we shall also reign with him: if we shall deny him, he also will deny us:" — 2 Timothy 2:10-12 (ASV)

The world does not love Christ, or his gospel, an atom more today than it did in Paul's day. The carnal mind is still enmity against God.
