Charles Spurgeon Commentary 2 Timothy 2:14

"Of these things put them in remembrance, charging [them] in the sight of the Lord, that they strive not about words, to no profit, to the subverting of them that hear." — 2 Timothy 2:14 (ASV)

There are some Christians who need this exhortation given to them in these days, for they are always striving about words to no profit. Beware of these men, if you do not want your faith to be staggered.
