Charles Spurgeon Commentary

Charles Spurgeon Commentary
"So on the morrow, when Agrippa was come, and Bernice, with great pomp, and they were entered into the place of hearing with the chief captains and principal men of the city, at the command of Festus Paul was brought in." — Acts 25:23 (ASV)
It was the kind of congregation Paul was very pleased to address, and the gospel could not have had a nobler or worthier advocate, yet we do not read of anyone present surrendering themselves to the Lord Jesus Christ.
