Charles Spurgeon Commentary

Charles Spurgeon Commentary
"And Festus saith, King Agrippa, and all men who are here present with us, ye behold this man, about whom all the multitude of the Jews made suit to me, both at Jerusalem and here, crying that he ought not to live any longer." — Acts 25:24 (ASV)
Festus made sure that the Jews would not be able to forget that they had demanded the death of a man who had not even been put on trial.
