Charles Spurgeon Commentary

Charles Spurgeon Commentary
"As therefore ye received Christ Jesus the Lord, [so] walk in him, rooted and builded up in him, and established in your faith, even as ye were taught, abounding in thanksgiving." — Colossians 2:6-7 (ASV)
For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
When ye lived in them. But now you do not live in them. You are dead to them. If it should ever come to pass that you fall into any of these things, you will loathe yourself with bitterest repentance that you could find comfort, satisfaction, life in them. You are dead to them.
