Charles Spurgeon Commentary

Charles Spurgeon Commentary
"and be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, even as God also in Christ forgave you." — Ephesians 4:32 (ASV)
And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you.
That is, very freely, very often, very abundantly, very thoroughly, very heartily: even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you, so also do you.
Even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you.
The Lord write all these words upon our hearts, for Christ's sake! Amen.
Tenderhearted, forgiving one another,
You will have something that will need to be forgiven, and your brother will have something which you will need to forgive.
