Charles Spurgeon Commentary Galatians 3:25-26

"But now faith that is come, we are no longer under a tutor. For ye are all sons of God, through faith, in Christ Jesus." — Galatians 3:25-26 (ASV)

For this Hgar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

That is, of all of us who believe in Christ Jesus. We are born of the free-woman, not of the bondwoman; not born of the covenant of works, and in the strength of the creature; but born of the covenant of grace, in the power of God, according to promise.
