Charles Spurgeon Commentary

Charles Spurgeon Commentary
"For as many of you as were baptized into Christ did put on Christ. There can be neither Jew nor Greek, there can be neither bond nor free, there can be no male and female; for ye all are one [man] in Christ Jesus." — Galatians 3:27-28 (ASV)
For it is written, Rejoice, you barren who do not bear; break forth and cry, you who do not travail: for the desolate has many more children than she who has a husband. Now we, brothers, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
If we are God's children, it is not by our own strength, or by the strength of the flesh, in any measure or degree; but it is by the grace of God, and the promise of God, that we are what we are.
