SCRIPTURE

"For ye, brethren, were called for freedom; only [use] not your freedom for an occasion to the flesh, but through love be servants one to another. For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, [even] in this: Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself." — Galatians 5:13-14 (ASV)

But by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

The condensation of the whole law is contained in that one word "love." In the first table, we are taught to love God; and the commands of the second table teach us to love our neighbor.
