SCRIPTURE

"And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day." — Genesis 32:24 (ASV)

And there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.

I suppose our Lord Jesus Christ did here, as on many other occasions preparatory to his full incarnation, assume a human form, and in this way came to wrestle with the patriarch.
