Charles Spurgeon Commentary Genesis 7:9

"there went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, male and female, as God commanded Noah." — Genesis 7:9 (ASV)

They 'went in.' Noah did not have to hunt or search for them, but they came according to God's plan and purpose, just as, concerning the salvation which is by Christ Jesus, his people shall be willing to come to him in the day of his power; with joyfulness shall they come into the ark of their salvation.
