"For they that say such things make it manifest that they are seeking after a country of their own." — Hebrews 11:14 (ASV)

For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.

They were strangers and pilgrims here, and they sought a country elsewhere. Every man wants a country; and if we do not have one beneath the stars, we seek it somewhere else.
