"Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man shall see the Lord:" — Hebrews 12:14 (ASV)

Follow peace with all men,

You will not always get it, but follow it – run after it.

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. One's god is like oneself, and until we become like God we cannot see God; we misunderstand God until we have been trained to imitate him.

The holy God can only be seen by holy eyes. He must make us like himself before we can see him.
