Charles Spurgeon Commentary

Charles Spurgeon Commentary
"We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat that serve the tabernacle." — Hebrews 13:10 (ASV)
Whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.
They have nothing to do with it, for they are still under the old ceremonial law; and those whose religion consists in outward rites and ceremonies can never eat of the spiritual altar at which spiritual men eat, for they do not understand the scripture, and they still serve the Mosaic tabernacle.
We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.
Those who cling to the external and ceremonial observances of religion have no right to the privileges which belong to those who come to the spiritual altar; they cannot share that secret.
