SCRIPTURE

"So that with good courage we say, The Lord is my helper; I will not fear: What shall man do unto me? Remember them that had the rule over you, men that spake unto you the word of God; and considering the issue of their life, imitate their faith." — Hebrews 13:6-7 (ASV)

So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

It seems that there were special persons, leaders in the Church of God, who were to be remembered, reflected on, and considered. They were set apart for this world: them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God.

They were leaders among the saints, and Paul would have the rank and file imitate them in their confident trust in the Lord Jesus Christ: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.
