"But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak:" — Hebrews 6:9 (ASV)

Harsh as the apostle's words may seem, they are not meant for you who are really believers in Christ, and in whom the Holy Spirit has worked a complete change of heart and life. Paul is not speaking of such as you.
