SCRIPTURE

"the Holy Spirit this signifying, that the way into the holy place hath not yet been made manifest, while the first tabernacle is yet standing;" — Hebrews 9:8 (ASV)

That the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:

It was necessary for the sacred tent, the tabernacle, to be taken away—indeed, for the temple to be taken away too—before you could learn their spiritual meaning. You must break the shell to get at the kernel. So God had ordained. Hence, there is now no tabernacle, no temple, no holy court, no inner shrine, the Holy of Holies. The material worship has been done away with, so that we may offer the spiritual worship for which the material was only the type.
