SCRIPTURE

"but if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword; for the mouth of Jehovah hath spoken it." — Isaiah 1:20 (ASV)

But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

So the Lord has mercy in His right hand for those who will turn from their sin; but He has a sword in His left hand for those who will continue in their iniquities.

God grant us grace now to yield to the sweet reasoning of His love, and to turn from our sins, for His dear Son's sake! Amen.
