SCRIPTURE

"Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are accounted as the small dust of the balance: Behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing. And Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, nor the beasts thereof sufficient for a burnt-offering." — Isaiah 40:15-16 (ASV)

Behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing. And Lebanon

With all its forests of cedar: "Lebanon" –

Behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing. And Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, nor the beasts thereof sufficient for a burnt offering.

There, set Lebanon itself ablaze; let all its forests of cedar be the wood to burn the sacrifice, and all its cattle the victims upon the altar; yet are they but as a child's toys in the sight of the all-glorious Jehovah. There is nothing in them that can satisfy his infinite heart.
