Charles Spurgeon Commentary

Charles Spurgeon Commentary
"Yea, since the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who can hinder it?" — Isaiah 43:13 (ASV)
Yea, before the day was I am he;
When there was no day, there was the Ancient of days.
And there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?
(Who shall hinder it?)
"When he makes bare his arm,
What shall his work withstand?
When he his people's cause defends,
Who, who shall stay his hand?"
