"I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee." — Isaiah 44:22 (ASV)

I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, your transgressions, and, as a cloud, your sins: return to me; for I have redeemed you.

First he pardoned their sins, and then he called them to return to him. What a wonder of mercy this is—free grace removing sin, and then the sweet constraints of gratitude drawing the forgiven sinner near his God!
