Charles Spurgeon Commentary

Charles Spurgeon Commentary
"For I, Jehovah, love justice, I hate robbery with iniquity; and I will give them their recompense in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them. And their seed shall be known among the nations, and their offspring among the peoples; all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which Jehovah hath blessed." — Isaiah 61:8-9 (ASV)
And I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them. And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the Lord hath blessed.
A visible stamp of divine blessing shall be upon believers in Christ: they are the seed which the Lord hath blessed, and all men shall acknowledge that it is so.
