SCRIPTURE

"From thence also shalt thou go forth, with thy hands upon thy head: for Jehovah hath rejected those in whom thou trustest, and thou shalt not prosper with them." — Jeremiah 2:37 (ASV)

For the LORD has rejected your confidences, and you shall not prosper in them.

May God, in his mercy, save all of us from false confidences, both now and throughout our whole lives!

Yea, thou shalt go forth from him, and thine hands upon thine head:

You shall go forth as a captive, with your hands bound above your head; or, like one in great pain or sorrow, you shall hold your hands to your head.
