SCRIPTURE

"and he said, Naked came I out of my mother`s womb, and naked shall I return thither: Jehovah gave, and Jehovah hath taken away; blessed be the name of Jehovah." — Job 1:21 (ASV)

The LORD gave and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.

I think these are the grandest words in the whole record of human speech. Considering the circumstances of the man at the time, that he should speak in this way was, I think, a miracle of grace.

And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither:

That is, to the womb of Mother Earth.
