Charles Spurgeon Commentary Job 24:18

"Swiftly they [pass away] upon the face of the waters; Their portion is cursed in the earth: They turn not into the way of the vineyards." — Job 24:18 (ASV)

He is swift as the waters; their portion is cursed in the earth:

There was no curse upon Job, and no curse can come near the true child of God; his scanty portion is still blessed. But the large portion of the ungodly is cursed even while he is in the earth.
