Charles Spurgeon Commentary

Charles Spurgeon Commentary
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, a servant is not greater than his lord; neither one that is sent greater than he that sent him." — John 13:16 (ASV)

Sometimes, we think that we are far too great to wash anyone's feet; we would like to see someone propose it to us, such important people as we are!
