SCRIPTURE

"Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and dost thou not know me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; how sayest thou, Show us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I say unto you I speak not from myself: but the Father abiding in me doeth his works." — John 14:8-10 (ASV)

Philip says to him, Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us. Jesus says to him, Have I been with you for so long, and yet you have not known me, Philip? he who has seen me has seen the Father; and how do you then say, Show us the Father? Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak to you I do not speak from myself: but the Father who dwells in me, he does the works.

Christ and the Father are indissolubly one. Even when he was here in his humiliation, he was not separated from his Father, except in that dread hour when he was bearing his people's sins upon the cross. Now he is visibly one with his Father on the throne of glory.
