SCRIPTURE

"Ye worship that which ye know not: we worship that which we know; for salvation is from the Jews. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth: for such doth the Father seek to be his worshippers. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship in spirit and truth. The woman saith unto him, I know that Messiah cometh (he that is called Christ): when he is come, he will declare unto us all things. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am [he]." — John 4:22-26 (ASV)

You worship what you do not know: we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeks such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and those who worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. The woman says to him, I know that Messias is coming, who is called Christ: when he has come, he will tell us all things. Jesus says to her, I who speak to you am he.

That majestic word of Christ carried conviction with it; the woman believed it there and then.
