Charles Spurgeon Commentary John 4:41-42

"And many more believed because of his word; and they said to the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy speaking: for we have heard for ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Saviour of the world." — John 4:41-42 (ASV)

And many more believed because of his own word; And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

May God grant that many might be brought to know Christ, the Saviour, tonight! Amen.
