"But he answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk." — John 5:11 (ASV)

He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk.

That was his warrant. No one but God could have made him whole. God can set aside any of his laws if he pleases; at any rate, whatever he commands must be right.
