Charles Spurgeon Commentary John 5:12

"They asked him, Who is the man that said unto thee, Take up [thy bed], and walk?" — John 5:12 (ASV)

They asked, "What man" had given this command. Why, if it had been a mere man who had said it, the impotent man could neither have taken up his bed nor have walked!
